Almoradí to celebrate 7th Youth Encounter

Live music, workshops, sporting activities and videogames this weekend On Friday evening from 6pm and Saturday from 10am Almoradí will be celebrating its 7th Youth encounter in the Plaza de la Constitución. The event will have different tents with a variety of associations and institutions related to youth and local businesses which are collaborating altruistically to provide fun just for younger people. Town Hall to spend almost €800,000 on Orihuela Costa

Replacing paving, asphalting roads and restoring green areas and playgrounds Orihuela Councillor Rafael Almagro has announced contracts have been awarded to repair pavements and tarmac roads in Orihuela Costa, and to restore green areas and children’s playgrounds in the same area. Councillor Juan Ignacio López-Bas said one of the contracts is for €570,091 and the work will take four months to complete. Plenty of opportunities for training, fun and culture for 14 to 35 year olds Torrevieja Councillor Víctor Ferrández has informed that the new programme for spring at the Youth Information Centre (CIAJ) is now available and includes the months of April to June. Bar owner also accused of covering up the crime A man accused of killing another man in a pub in Orihuela Costa went on trial by jury in Elche on Monday, along with the owner of the establishment where it happened who is accused of covering it up.
